Hadrat Mufakkir al-Islam provides the proof of intercession by quoting the practise of the Imam of his time, Sayyiduna Imam as-Sajjad Zayn al-'Abidin (Allah be pleased with him) whilst he was walking through the city of Kufah as a prisoner.
