In this video, Hadrat Shaykh al-Qur'an wa'l-Hadith, as-Sayyid Abdul Qadir Jilani (Allah have mercy on him) explores the heartbreaking Persian narrative of Rustam and his son Sohrab, a tragic tale of concealed identities, pride and unbearable grief on the battlefield. When Rustam realises he has unknowingly struck down his own son, his spirit breaks and his days as a warrior come to an end.
